Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and other tools for gathering in order to increase attributes or other bonuses while the equipment being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be at a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma merchants, traded with other players on the Trading Post or used to repair equipment, or obtained as rewards in games.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions can be used on any kind of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than other kinds of upgrade component. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that are ascended back. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item in that each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece may have a different set of available Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a area is, the more Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonuses when certain conditions are met.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further by selecting an option below "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to pull a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can help you level up faster or to obtain better loot, such as the best weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters that they like regardless of their strength. It could be that they like the style or personality of the character.
When you reroll, you need to ensure that the changes you are making are safe. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development test. The patch should be uploaded with a plain difference to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take a few days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. In addition you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can help you save time and energy.
When rerolling, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are several ways to enhance your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling may not be necessary, but it is a way to increase your chances of getting an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different playstyles and builds.
item upgrades is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of the class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and differences.
If you upgrade a set item, it transforms into an upgraded version that is superior to the previous one. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense value and less requirements for strength.
Upgrading can be a great way to bring popular single-set items into the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could increase the defense from 217 up to 321 and reduce the strength and levels to an feasible range.
However, it's important to note that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their stats even more. For these kinds of items, it could be worth the cost to upp them.
